Halloween-y
Not in the mood for some writing. Just want to release stress. I spent my Halloween touring rambling around Manila. Today actually was the longest day I ever had because all I got to do was wait, then sleep, then wait and wait and wait. What do you get? The most terrible halloween I ever had. Daddy woke me up at three in the morning and told me that I, with my aunt, should go to someplace in...

Day 6: To a stranger
What? What am I supposed to do? Lemme share you my thoughts today.  I’m sad. I missed my barkada’s reunion. My dad won’t allow me to go. I missed the Halloween party, the munching on unhealthy foods, and the special people who were there. I stayed in bed all day long and won’t do anything. I don’t want to. I was supposed to be out of house today, but they restrained...

The better St. Raphael had their reunion last week, and because the best St. Raphael had been planning an ultra grand reunion since the sembreak began, yea, we had an ultra grand reunion (paulit-ulit?). And Ate Karla, joke lang. Ha-ha. I was considering this break my last because beginning next semester, sleep would be a rare occasion, seriously. So I was more than grateful for having to see my...

BBC: Indonesia tsunami deaths increase after... →
This reminds me, Manila hasn’t experienced it’s big time quake yet. Let’s hope it’s not happening soon. And let’s hope all the survivors of this Indonesian disaster recover quickly.

Rome was not built in a day
This idiom means that many things cannot be done instantly, and require time and patience. (Source: fuckyeahidioms) - There goes my first semester. I, again, got freakishly low marks. Highest I got? 1.5. And don’t even ask what the lowest one was. I cannot identify if the problem is with me, or with the course, or with my professors. Disappointment’s eating everything in me. Sobrang...

The US
started the “trend” that some “misshapen” figure is in because their citizens are fat. imposed to their obese citizens the need to be fit.  wanting to treat the “growing” society, gave way to high-end, expensive diets. made the whole world seem like some desperate follower of the trends and vogue. These are random, purely opinionated thoughts. Just...

A fan letter on Katy's birthday →
belluslatina: I’ll try to make this VERY short. Dear Katy, today you’re turning 26 years old and I just can’t believe how fast this 2 and a half years have passed by. I still remember seeing your video for “I Kissed a Girl” on the TV and thinking how beautiful you were and still are. Your video blogs made me… Huh?! Why is this making my eyes mist? Happy 26th, Ms. Perry Mrs. Brand!...

My spanking day*
I’ve just had so many new experiences yesterday that I thought I cannot forget them all. The first half of my day was spent the usual way—being a bum at home, tumblr-ing, etc. By lunch time, our dad told us we would have to attend a seminar for those who are poll watching in the election today. I, my ate, and my brother stayed there for, like (Diana Beth), an hour until we (my brother...

Buying time
A man came home from work late again, tired and irritated, to find his 5-year-old son waiting for him at the door. “Daddy, may I ask you a question?” “Yeah, sure, what is it?” replied the man. “Daddy, how much money do you make an hour? “That’s none of your business! What makes you ask such a thing?” the man said angrily. “I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?”...

Bruno Mars performing Just the Way You Are, live on Billboard Tastemakers. Click here to see him do Grenade and The Lazy Song. Other than Jason Mraz, he’s the only artist who I’ve seen performing live and is still able to sound better than the studio version. Kudos Bruno Mars! I see so much more potential in you. And hurray for being half-Pinoy! :)

His mouth is such a major concern
NY MAG: We mean this as a compliment, but you’re quite good at playing a doofus who has a tendency to put his foot in his mouth. Did that take a lot of practice?
Chord Overstreet: Well, it should be easy for me since they reference my mouth being extra large numerous times. But no, it’s awesome. Everybody roots for the guy who puts his foot in his mouth. I love how goofy they wrote it; it just makes him much more lovable. It’s a lot of work any way you look at it, but the character itself comes easy to me, 'cause it’s pretty much me in a nutshell. I’m lucky the writers write clever jokes to make me seem funny.

Potpourri
My excitement’s overflowing for the next semester because I’ll be able to take my econ courses, which I’m supposed to die before I get. Although there’s nothing to be excited for because those subjects are predominantly hard, I still am. Maybe it’s because I am (hopefully) three semesters away from that most anticipated grandiose ceremony. Hurray! This is going to be...
